Does anyone know of a source for that nice tape on the inside rim of the push-on lenscap for the Color-Skopar 35mm (it keeps the cap snug, and appears to be some sort of very thin foam)? Reason I asked is that metal Leica push-on cap for my 50mm Summitar needs some snugness to stay in place. I've tried thin strips of masking tape and this works except that the tape gets mangled easily and needs frequent replacement. Suggestions appreciated.

black Dymo Label tape imprinted with a series of dots or dashes (for grip) and applied to the inside surface of the cap. The length of the piece will determine the resulting degree of shimming you get. I've done this with many of my do-it-myself caps and it works very well to keep the caps on.
