THANK you, it's clear now that mine is M mount only,

If the tiny grub screw shown in post above isn't there....it is not possible to use on LTM body. I see people often confusing the larger screw as the one indicating a removable mount. I've had people get defensive when I politely point out the simple mistake. But, It is the tiny one that allows M- mount removal.

yes, you're right i was confused too regarding the larger screw.

Ah, that was my lens, now sold. As can be seen from the state of the screw they may not be that easy to remove.

Beware, I have come across one which had also been glued, needed a fair amount of heat to remove.

Anyway, when all said and done an M lens with its red dot just doesn't look right on an LTM camera (in my opinion)

dual - mount lens is quite interesting, and the summaron is special. I once sold one and regreted not long later on. luckyly I managed to buy another that shown above and keep using it.

2.8 summaron is indeed very special! I really like my goggled one, although I recently realized it needs a cleaning. Some haze has appeared 😠
