Nice shot - he is cute and seems to be a patient model. Maybe a little cropping to remove the dark area in the upper left corner? I am not sure though...

I would crop it a little tighter but photos like this are so much more about the subject than any technical details, IMO. Anyway the resolution falloff (and light leak?) toward the edges of the frame give it a nice "vintage" look.

I really wish I had taken more pictures of my pets over the years...

lovely dog , I like the image and IF I were cropping it , I would take off some of the right side , and make it a vertical picture , as in portret mode .
