If anybody gets a shipping notice, let us know. I'm fairly far back in the queue at Adorama, so I'm probably out of luck. But I'm curious if any US buyers will be shooting snowdrifts with this thing before the day is out.
So is it really going to ship today?

I'd have bought one a few years back, but I'm thinking maybe, maybe-not on alternate days ... I'm not sure if I can get on with the menu thing, my daughter's gf1 is a nice bit of kit, but the menus are sooooo infuriating

AFAIK, they are available in Japan, but won't be in the US or UK til end of month.

I pre-ordered at Precision and his email said they would get a larger quantity at the end of March rather than a trickle earlier.

All indications are that this date has been pushed back. Perhaps Fuji hasn't yet figured things out. Have you received any updates since a few weeks ago?
I have had no further updates from our Fuji rep but as soon as I get something official I will forward the info...

They're suposed to ship from distributors tomorrow in the USA, if what the Fuji guy had previously said was right. If this is true, then stores probably won't get them and get them out for a week or so. Lets hope for the end of next week earliest. Shipping friday, nothing happens on the g-d weekend.
