Just got my fist roll developed from my GSW690 & every frame was stuffed.
Luckily they didn't charge me for it, but they sid the film wasn't wound tight enough.
So, any tips for loading a GSW690iii? Any advice appreciated.

Apply pressure with your thumb whilst initially winding film onto the takeup spool. See here:

Handy video. Not exactly elegant. I think I went wrong by taking both reels out to slot then end in the empty one & then trying to get them both back in.
Roll 2 is already in there (fingers crossed). Roll 3 I'll try one at a time.

John,
was it wound off after the final frame?
If I can help at all in any way, you have only to ask. I'm up at Molesworth on the way to the Derwent Valley.
I ought to still have a test roll kicking around somewhere. Welcome to hook up at some stage and do a practice load and run it through without spending more $$$ on a live roll.
Best,
Brett

Shooter of Film...
I watched the video of the guy loading his camera and I'm screaming put the camera on a table (I know he's nowhere near a table) or at least on your lap so you don't have to fight holding it and loading it at the same time...you can see he's struggling with this and you can hear him breathing hard and all he's doing is loading film...it was frustrating to watch...:bang:

LOL - yes, the video is VERY hard to watch ... it's like he wishes everything to be against him (I actually thought he was having a heart attack just via the breathing). However - what it does also show, is that you can do everything seemingly "incorrectly" (I'm still amazed he didn't actually drop the damn camera) and yet (with experience, skill and luck ?) manage to load a Fuji correctly ... whilst having a heart attack, slippery hands, holding a video camera and quite possibly eating a sandwich (does this explain the heavy breathing or is it something more risque ?) all at once.

Thanks Brett. I believe you were in Walch Optics the day I was looking at the Fuji.
I'll hopefully get my third roll in tomorrow, that video was pretty useful.
