For those of you that use adapted wide angle SLR or RF lenses on these cameras, I found corners to be smeary or soft on the LCD with my 21/4.5 ZM adapted on an EP-1. I know these adapted lenses are not telecentric accounting for this problem. My question is this; does it also appear as bad on the image when downloaded from the memory card or is this what it is? Are the Pannys any better with this problem? Some people have shown images with these adapted lenses and the final image don't appear that bad.

I think you need to print the images (at a reasonable size like 9 by 12 inches) and not only rely on the screen and its own inherent faults. Because that is where it matters ...

I have made 16x20 inch prints from images using cv 21mm and 12mm on an E-P1. There is no problem with the images.

Soft corners are not an inherently bad thing, and their occurrence on m4/3 with RF lenses is kind of unpredictable. I like images taken with my CV 15mm Heliar, even with smeared corners...I'm with Finder and uhligfd, print some pictures, stand three feet back, and see if you feel happy.

I also think some of the "soft" corners are more of a depth of field problem. When you use 35mm lenses with depth of field scales on a m4/3 camera, you need to use the scales two stops larger than what the lens is set to--when shooting at f/8, use the f/4 scales.
