Soft Release or Mini Soft Release?

So I shoot with both a Bessa R2 and a Leica M2 and I'm interested in acquiring a Soft Release. I understand the full-size Soft Release won't fit on the R2. Does anyone shoot with the Mini Soft Release on their M? Any preferences between the two sizes? Does it matter? Thanks for your opinions.

I use the full size soft release on my Leica M6 and CL and the mini soft release on my R2A. When it comes to soft release's IMHO the bigger the better.

I've got a mini black soft release on my M6. I like it but I'd like to trade it for a "regular" sized one in black - this is mainly because I have a regular sized one on my M3 and I like the feel of it - if anyone wants to do a swap.. drop me a PM 🙂

i use the mini size on all 3 of my cameras.

soft releases are good especially if you don't use the tip of your finger to press the shutter.
the zi is very smooth and easy to push but i tend to push from further down the finger midway betwen tip and first indent so the soft release is ideal.

I shoot a Mini Soft Release on an M2 and a CL. It works nicely, but I do wish I had the full-sized one.

I really like the original factory-standard soft-releases on all my cameras... 😀
