I've tried to use my A&A screw-in release with the Zorki but it seems not to fit.
Any advice on a matching alternative?

hey, they're only Zorkis
Years back, I bought 2 or 3 of Tom Abrahamsson's Shutter SoftRelease from CameraQuest. Work great for me.

I have a couple of Abrahamsson soft releases and they are really nice, Cameraquest seems to only have black or chrome though. I have bought some colored soft releases from this dude on ebay http://stores.ebay.com/Zhou-Camera-Case/_i.html?_fsub=1780717013 and while they aren't quite as nice they are cheap and come in many colors.
Is the soft release you already have too big or too small? The threads on my Pentax 6x7's shutter didn't want catch my soft release's threads but a few layers of teflon plumber's tape and it fits just fine now

I was thinking it is a A&A, but now not sure. It looks similar as Zhou's.I have a couple of Abrahamsson soft releases and they are really nice, Cameraquest seems to only have black or chrome though. It screws not straight in (in Zorki). Leica fit is perfect.
A fill-material is a good idea...
