Leica optics appreciate in value over time in most cases.
Are Maseratis overpriced? Sell one, and then buy ten other cars?

I thought everyone knows that Leica glass is overpriced?

I very pleased with the voigtlander and Zeiss, My NEX 5N has contrast focus which is ok and i use,but evenings my manual focus is a lot better

The images produced by the voigtlander i have are better than those from the sony "glass"

I can also use then with an M Leica,at this moment im going to buy an M2 or the M4 chrome

I personly cant aford to keep my Leica glass if i do i wont be able to buy a Leica body nor a NEX6 when there sale price in september(i hope)

I do not have a lot of spare cash.At the start of august i had 17€ for the month.The sale of a lens has helped eat as well

Leica lenses are superb and expensive.
So are Zeiss lenses.
So are Voigtländer lenses, to many people anyway. Most of my friends gag when I tell them I bought a Voigtländer Color Skopar 50mm f/2.5 new for only $430. "Why didn't you just buy a Sigma zoom for $250?"

Doesn't matter. The Sigma they suggest isn't worth the money to me. The Leica lens is, despite its high price.

If you have the money, buy anything you like.
If you don't, buy whatever you can afford that works for you.
