I've been taking a little vacation from photography and haven't checked in here regularly. Now, I see the camera Back Alley and I shared, the X-Pro1, is no longer in favor with him. I'm starting to get the itch again and I'm glad the XP1 and its three lenses will be ready to go when I am.
But otherwise, I say indulge yourself if and as you can. Your experiences may just save me a ton of money as you pioneer your way through the many available options. I can learn from your experience.

It's both - and neither.
Seriously, it's supposed to be FF in a nex - style body, albeit a tad larger.

i was not using the xpro1 very much as the xe-1 was the favourite...i hope to get either an updated xp? or xe? depending on what fuji does to improve them...

Not to cause any offense, or tell you what to do with your money, but if you're asking people in a forum what camera gear to buy you obviously don't need to buy anything.
Use the money to go on holiday, go to Sibera or Burkina Faso or something, live rough and take some interesting photos with the gear you already have. The x-e1 is more camera than a lot of pros will ever need.

Good point. OTOH, the X100 is a sublime little machine......
