Soligor Selector CDS light meter?

Hi All,

Last night, at a thrift store I picked up a Soligor Selector Cds light meter for a few dollars, and it appears to be in working condition, even the mercury battery has juice in it. I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with this meter, has any opinions as to it's quality, usability, and most importantly, whether they would know where I could find a users manual.

Soligor were generally lower cost meters. Not in the same league as Gossen and Metraphot, and Weston Ranger. While it may work just fine, it would be a good idea to check its accuracy against a known good meter in both bright light and in very dim light, to check accuracy at both ends of the range of the meter. The more expensive meters can be re-calibrated to compensate for ageing components, however this may not be worth it on meters that were low cost to begin with.
