Greek photographer Constantin Pittas travelled throughout Europe in the 80's carrying a small Minox 35 camera. Today he posted some pictures taken in the period between 1987 and 1989 in both East and West Germany.
These are brilliant picture, i hope you enjoy them.

I might enjoy them, but a box keeps appearing offering to take money from me.

I'm able to watch it and get the subtitles. I'm about 1/4 way through and am enjoying it. He did some discussion of his from the hip style. But more interesting is his approach to photographing and its meaning to him.
Thanks for the update on Constantin Pittas.

I finished the video. I like this guy's photos, but I wonder if he may have taken some artistic license by making his central and eastern Europe look darker than it really was. Every day couldn't have been so the mid-tones (arrow) on the histogram was moved to the right. There had to be some normal ight in the these areas at that time as there is now.

When he shows some contact sheets, the tones are quite different - I think he likes this sort of greys on the prints.

Probably so, I still don't dislike his rendition, he has/had talent. I also feel he had plenty to do with the video.
