Thought I'd put out some sample images from the Canon 0.95 and Canon 7 that I've had in the classifieds. Quite a few people have been interested, but it hasn't sold, and part of the problem seems to have been misunderstandings about how the lens renders, and even how it might fit (or not fit in this case) on other cameras.

One of the things to bear in mind is that the lens DOES need to be converted to fit on an M-mount camera. An adapter alone isn't enough!

I know there's at least one m4/3 adapter (though that sort of outfit would probably be very unbalanced with this enormous lens), and I've been told there are adapters for the Sony A7 cameras, though I haven't checked this myself.

The way the lens renders is also a matter of confusion. I've owned the lens for five years, but for various reasons only had it in my possession about a month. I ran three rolls through the camera to test the lens: the first roll was shot outside in bright sun with an ND filter fitted - when I had that roll developed I discovered the camera doesn't operate at 1000/s - so almost all the images had only a tiny strip that was exposed. Luckily all the other speeds are ok.

These are the results of the second roll - I just strolled around a place called Rosendals here in Stockholm and snapped away randomly. The third roll was indoor tests, mostly of my daughter.

Anyway, thought I'd put some images here to circumvent some of the questions and give a rough idea of the style. The forum compression does take quite a bit of the impact away, and these are twice-reduced jpegs (forgot how small forum images needed to be).

Still a bit undecided whether to sell…

The lens is sold now. The camera has been sold and then unsold several times, so I've really put it down to the lowest price possible. Hope it finds a home.
