It's funny but we might not be able to use the term "EVIL" anymore to refer to SLRs. This acronym is turning up for the new breed of digitals... "Electronic View Interchangeable Lens" cameras, like the Samsung NX 10.

There's more to it than that. Take a look at the shutter speed dial and the height of the release. It looks like it was tweaked for gloved hand usage.
Thoughts?

That's a standard feature of the F3P rather than the standard F3 body.

In fact the F3P was out for the Winter Olympic Games ... and yes it was thought to be used with gloves....
I reworked a DL-1 to use an LED.
It would not be hard to make something for an F3HP, but I prefer the F2SB and F2AS for the dark.

The chap did finish some "Apaches", mostly Lamborghini's and Ferrari's...I’ve always imagined the designer chap who styled the F3 had just finished working on the Apache gunship … and was listening to the soundtrack of Apocalypse Now

Great Pic on the F3!

As long as that work wasn't at night where you might need to see your shutter speed.
At night? that's what digital cameras are for

That's what that little red button on the prism is for.
