I've recently started developing my own film and pretty much just researched methods and taught myself etc but still can't help but feel like I could do a lot of improving.
I've been using a canonet GL III and olympus stylus epic. Stand developing with rodinal and fixing with formulary tf-4 rapid fixer. Ive been strictly shooting with Tri-X at iso 400 because I'm still learning the basics and don't want to push yet. I have attempted to just do regular development with rodinal for my first five rolls but they came out pretty bad and the film was still black or just blank so i got frustrated and started doing stand, reading its an easier way with rodinal. If anyone one has personal rodinal regular development times/methods I would love to hear that because I'm afraid to try again and ruin a roll of film
Any feedback would be awesome and much appreciated, I'm trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can! Ill post some of the images that I've taken and critique them on any issues please

Looks like what you should get with rodinal and ISO 400 film. To me Rodinal is fancy and tricky developer for slow films. For 400 and higher I'm using HC-100 as predictable, fine results developer.

Yes, I agree with ko.fe.
Either use a slow speed film with Rodinal stand developing or try something like D-76 with your Tri-X.
I generally use D-76 as stock (no dilution) or dilute 1:1.
Hope this helps you.
Keep at it.
I've been doing this for a long time and I'm still learning. That's the fun part with photography!
