ISO 1600, BW with yellow filter setting:
some user-induced shake in this one and maybe some difficulty focusing for the cam itself (i was squatting, always a shaky proposition for me)
this one is heavily cropped to square, maybe a 100 percent enlargement:

Excells in B&W. Color is good too. I guess this means the Bessa R2 will start collecting dust.
BTW it looks like in your shadow your hair is coming back just in time for winter.

You're getting to grips with the X100 very quickly, nice pictures. But what do you think of it so far?
ps. I get the squatting shakes too!

The best camera is one that still works!
Great stuff Paul.
With the camera at ISO 3200 and the three stop ND filter on you get something resembling grain. It was my favoirite setting for black and white.

Very nice!
Seems you're getting familiar already.
Keith, your tip sounds good. Gonna try that on Tuesday.
Need to bump the ISO, as the X100 can take A LOT, before any grain appears.

Paul;
Please pardon my ignorance, but is your X100 the camera that Keith was considering giving to you?

Awesome shots Paul. It's a great little camera and the color images that it creates are really stunning.
