These were taken with the Fuji BW cheomogenic film. I bought a hundred rolls on Ebay. However, the vendor bought it all back becuse Fuji said it had a manufacturing problem. I had alrady started this fim. The problem as some very tiny faults in the emulsion which manifested in the form of white pinhole. There were a few but I corrected them with Painyshop pro.

Very nice John. I like the first set mainly because of the subject matter. In the top left on in the second set (3093721.jpg) is that a bit of flare in the top right of the pic? Also, please remind me, where is Ely?

Did you rate the film at 400? And what is your sense of the enlargement potential of pictures taken with the Canonet?

There is a street light in the top left photo of the second set. Ely is 17 miles north of Cambridge in England. The film was rated at 400. This pictures are not a fair test of the enlargement potential of the lens (low shutter speed, atmospheric conditions etc). I would say that the lens is very good.

Thanks for the info. The lens does look good, there are quite a few excellent pictures taken with it in the galleries here. What I have yet to see are pics taken with the lens wide open.
