Some images with the Ultron 28mm

Nice. I just received my Ultron this past Friday (along with the Heliar 75) and did some shooting on Saturday with it. Anxious to get them developed and see how they came out. It's a big lens.

Lovely images, Manfred. Quiety beautiful.
I'm a big Ultron user, too (no pun intended). Have a look on my Flickr page.

Hi Manfred,

Nice shots! I see you have another 15/4.5?! Thought you were going to go for the 12/5.6? I traded in the silver 15/4.5 I bought from you for a black one (at no extra cost) as it matches my R3M and M7 better! Taken some nice shots with it. Check under CV and Critique Forums.

Cheers,

Adrian

Hi mate,

well, at the end of the day, I did not get the 12mm.
I went and bought a 35mm F1.2
and a Rollei 35!

Oh, I also got rid of the R2, and replaced it with a Zeiss Ikon

Then after that went and bought the 15mm again . . . as I've bought too much of everything else.

Life is strange!
No exactly what I had planned in mind.
How's your trip coming along?

I never knew I was going to buy a Rollei,
some guy offered one in mint so I said what the heck, why not!
I highly recommend one. Only $700 in TST for a slighty beat up one.

Cheers,
Manfred

Disclaimer: I don't know this guy . . .

Hi Manfred,

Off to Japan in about 11 days. Still want me to go lens shopping for you?!? Tried private messaging you but the feature is turned off. Let me know.

Funny thing, I saw a guy lugging around a Canon dslr.
Poor guy . . . that thing was a like hanging a dumbell around his neck.

Or was that a dumbell with a Canon dslr around his neck. As someone who spends much of his spare time hiking with camera in hand, is there are more perfect partner than a RF?.

It's funny what we'll do for love (aka photography). I've carried around all sorts of equipment over the years but must say that a couple of rangefinders and three lenses in a Domke 803 seem very manageable. My Nikon system used to leave me slump shouldered. My Lumix, however, is still easy to tote and give surprisingly good results. But film makes me think before I shoot. And the prints are always a welcome surprise!

some "dumbells" even csrry medium or god save them, large format gear when hiking. And the images are great.
