Some more samples from the X100 -- or so it seems. I stumbled across this using Google image search.

Wish Fuji would hurry up and get a couple of the units out to reviewers that write in English!

I also shot the photos in an infinitely small place like this, come up smiling while holding down the shutter, increasing desire for more and more springing shooting. This may appeal X100. Take a fun photo power "picture" is a camera. PC with the data instead of staring in front of the camera, light and shadow play on the field and time. You can also shoot really well.

If stalled in digital photography, it is recommended to those who are swayed to buy camera equipment too. Is the photographer not the camera operator to imperceptibly? Interesting images, pity for the small size though. Bookeh is indeed smooth.

ISO 6400 and 12800 shots do show banding and I hope that that will still be taken care off until the camera hits the shelves, but I wold guess that up to at least ISO 1600 the photos should be very usable.
 
Same here. I've been cautiously optimistic that a X100 could supplement my normal M6 & 35 Cron rig since I'll only be able to afford an M9 if someone dies and leaves me a huge estate.

I would wish very much that the X100 performs well at high ISO values. However, these pictures are hardly meaningful in terms of giving an idea of the camera's S/N performance. Why? Well, they are downscaled, and thus are masking a lot of noise that might be visible at full resolution.

We're still in need of hi-res image examples if we want to verify if this camera performs well under low-light conditions.

These are fantastic. Looks like it has awesome dynamic range, great colors, AWESOME noise control (better than my 5d for sure and that makes it significantly better than say... an M9), nice bokeh etc.

I'm very very impressed.

I'm not a pixel peeper and I'm not scared of a little noise. People are getting spoiled expecting every camera to be perfect above ISO 3200. 3200 speed films were never perfect and using them at 12800 was even worse.

This is a digital camera, and as such, I'm not going to compare it with film. I hope that this camera is as good as or better than my D300, that's my point of reference. I'm sure that ISO 12800 is pure specmanship - I'd be more than happy if this camera produces viable color pictures @ ISO 6400. Noise as such above ISO 3200 has to be taken as a given, but banding is an absolute no-no - I'd only use such a camera at sensitivities that result in banding-free images.

Ok no problem... it's your cash of course. 🙂 I just think you are expecting too much at this point in time. There is a reason the Ricoh GXR and Leica X1 max out at 3200 I would imagine.
