One is that the glass over the new custom kodak sensor, which blocks some IR, but not all. Hmm, I wonder if this is a good thing?
It's convenient to be able to uv/ir filter, or to not filter with 35mm fl and greater, especially for M8 and M9 users using same glass, but for shorter than 35, you should not use a uv/ir filter or will get color shifts in corners? This indicates to me, there is some standard correction being applied, that may not be defeatable?
Oh, and there is still the issue that some black synthetic materials will show up as magenta - this is OK, the RD1 and many pro DSLRs do this as well.
Other than those issues, it appears to be a great FF M body, I'm happy with the M8 and can't justify an M9, but expect prices to drop over time, especially if/when a m9.2 or something comes along.
