Nothing of great interest, but I love the color the R-D1 produces right out of the camera. Kinda like digital Kodachrome (I said "kinda".) A windy day around a well worn farm...

it's interesting how the tones sometimes remind me a lot of slide film (elite chrome-ish?), like the one below, yet having a nice latitude (especially with iso200). I really like that.

I had always liked the R-D1 colors - vibrant like slide film. Umcelinho - your shot does have an ektachrome-ish look to it. Its the blues, I think.
Both my previous R-D1's always seemed to have infinity focus problems that kept creeping back after adjustment. I had to adjust the vertical on this one and upgrade it to R-D1s firmware - but infinity is right on.
Anyway - I need to find some better subject matter, but for a couple of months I'll have to settle for seeing the odd splash of color in the frozen NE tundra.

Excellent Edwin - you are going to have a great kit there!
If you think you may want one of the hard to get R-D1 finders for the 25mm check out my ad in the classifieds. Mine came with one but I don't have a 25 to use it with.

maybe you need to get a 25 and keep the finder
