Seems that we may have monthly guest in our gathering. Sounds good. Keep check our threads then.

Adrian, Calvin's idea is great ! Let's make a world wide invitation for each month's gathering, what do you think ?

Well done Adrian !!! I can see how tied was I that night when we were having dinner. BTW Keven, you seemed quite happy when those hot chicks passed you by.

Look like I was their team leader!:D :D

Hey guys,

I will be in Hong Kong Dec 26th through the New Year. Perhaps when you have your December meeting I can attend?

Nice Photos!!!

Of course!

The way things are working, we're averaging two meetings per month: one at which we get together to shoot and the other to review photos and gear (and drink beer). If the schedule continues, we may well have a meeting planned while you are here. Of course, given the holidays, some of us may be away. But I'm sure there are enough of us here that you'll find someone willing to meet and greet you!

I think it's great that we have visitors from afar interested in coming to our RFF meetings. We'd love to see more of you. Come visit us in this great city!

Not great photos in my estimation, but the day was INCREDIBLE nonetheless. I'm hoping the B&W shots will be finer. At least I know the G2 is working (thanks, Max)!

I'm glad you are happy with the G2. I am now waiting for your B&W batch.

Once again I might not be able to see you guys on the 28th, my boss is talking about sending me to Singapore on that very day... I guess you are all starting to believe I don't want to see you guys... Anyway I'll try my best to be here and start negotiating with my boss.

Cheers
Max

No Max, although we haven't met yet you are already one of us ! And if you have another set of G2 with the same or even a lower offer to me, you will be my best friend too !

Sorry Dingo, but no more G2, I will regret that Biogon 21mm...

You should subscribe to a free online hosting site and just insert the image from there. It would be much more effective!
photobucket and flickr are two populer ones.
I use Zenfolio and love it the only problem is there's a fee.

Love the pictures by the way!

Adrian, Your da man ! Your photos are so striking ! Members you don't know how difficult we were to take these pictures.
Once again congratulations !!!

Just a couple more...

Just a couple more...

Thanks, Dingo, but we took those photos as a team - with one of us distracting the subject and the other snapping the pic when he/she wasn't looking!

Here are two more. Unfortunately, the shot of the three generations of family in the store front playing Mahjong didn't come out great.

Mr. Ho, What kind of scanning you used for the colour film? The colour looks quite natural & realistic.

Color Six Labs in Central combines developing with scanning. I pay a few extra bucks and get back both negatives and CD of appox 800KB scans. If I want higher scans, I pay more or do it myself on my Epson scanner. These were from Color Six, but I've shrunk them down on my PC. Generally, Color Six's scans are okay, better in well lit pix, not so great (i.e., more grainy) for low lite.

Looking forward to our recruitment drive on 28 September! [Dingo, please bring a fire extinguisher for your tongue! The Chili Crabs are effective!]:p

My films are sometimes developed by a local shop and I get 6 mega-pixels files in a CD for free. I usually spend only $40 for one roll (4R pictures with a CD ).

Adrian, beer would be a good alternative than fire extinguisher. :D
