Hi Jerome,
I've never really understood what front focus exactly meant but I love the first one, the colours and the blurred background. Are those glasses from McDo?

Yes, a lot of SLR owners talk about back and front focus of their lenses. Is that where the lens does not focus where you intend it to focus?

All I know is that if I have a viewfinder as bright as the ZI, I am in pretty good shape.

Both kids' pictures are fine. The first seems a bit shaken, though.

Thanks for starting the thread, Jerome. Great color in your first.
Would be nice to have a thread with pictures taken with this lens
without lengthy discussions of a non-issue ...

Ever noticed, Roland, that non-issues are often the ones that are spoken about the most?

You can also tell your wife that that's an excellent shot of her. A well-focused candlelight shot? Very impressive and beautifully executed.

Roland, I just shared your posting with my wife. We're both looking forward to dinner with you guys some evening hopefully soon.
And sorry, Jerome, for highjacking your thread. Regarding your Sonnar shots, I really like the oof behaviour in your coke glass shot. Of course, I'm very partial to the Sonnar look having been properly indoctrinated by Roland.

Hi guys , i did some street photography tests with my new Sonnar, i have to get used to this focal length , there's really a big difference compared to a 35mm imho
all shots were taken with leica mp + ilford fp4 rated @ 100
So, let's see bokeh
i think i used 2,8 aperture, there is a 3D effect to it
