Some Ricoh FF90 Photos

I've been waiting for months for a nice spring day when I could load up my FF90 and put it through its paces. I finally got my chance yesterday, and took a walk down by the Des Moines river in Fort Dodge and took some pics of the old hydroelectric plant and the surrounding area. This is one fine film camera, in my estimation, and I am very happy with the results from my first roll.

I've saved a tidy FF-70 from the recycling bin at work today. I'll see whether it still works and put a roll of film through it.
Aparently, the lens had 5 elements so I'm expecting some reasonable results from it. The camera feels quite well made in my opinion.

Great stuff. I recently acquired an Ricoh FF 3 but haven't burned through my first roll yet. I took a chance on an "as is" FF 90 but it was DOA. Both cameras are very nice. They have a more substantial "real camera" feel than other point-n-shooters. Not stealthy because of the loud advance motors, but by all accounts (and as evident here) those little Tessars and variants on the better fixed lens point and shoots are nothing to turn your nose up at. I have gotten several rolls back from my Yashica T3. I love the look of its Zeiss T* coating. Looking forward to the FF 3 prints.
