I'm gonna start airport shooting. Saw this woman reading a magazine, she was all wrapped up in the "Guy Spy" article:

Canon IVsb 50mm 1.8 @ f1.8

Starting to really like this combo, gonna use faster film next time so I can stop down a bit.

I can play at this

Seattle Tacoma International airport, when the big wind storm hit and everyone lost power for up to two weeks. The airport didn't even have power - but for emergency lights here and there. I missed my flight.

I really like your shot, Michael. It has such a beautiful look to it. Does NOT look like an airport. Such a nice relaxed light.

when i went to Indiana this october i really found it easy to take pictures in the airport...
here i used my canonet ql17...

Me too! Me too! I like shooting in airports. Sooo many opportunities... although in the back of my mind, I always have this feeling some security guard is going to walk up to inspect my gear and intentions. 😱 Not a Canon.shot, but here's one from the Leica @ Chicago O'hare a couple weeks ago.

I guess alot of people are scared in airports now but I find it a great place for some cool shots.
Yeah, I don't by any means try to go stealth. I hang the camera around my neck in plain view and try to look openly tourist.photog.

Your shot, Harris, is a good example of the big windows/great light that makes airports so much fun to me. That combined with the infinite number of diverse, interesting faces is just too much to resist.

Aw geez, but not to pop your balloons but what's the big dead now that we have camera cell phones?

It's not like these are "spy shots" taken on the sly!

You ever noticed how much easier it is to shoot in a location such as an Airport using an available light rangefinder as opposed to say an SLR. (depending on the airport, all it takes is someone to be an a-hole and get 'suspicious')

SLRs, Camera Phones, Small point and shoot digitals, they get noticed oddly enough more often than a film rangefinder.

SeaTac Gate 14 on a Monday morning. Yeah a small camera! Canon ELPH Jr... 🙂

Gee, I just ran into the 150kb file-size limit for the attachment! 🙁
