This is the lens I posted about yesterday...all of these are with the yellow filter engaged, on TriX, at f/8. I like it!

This one has a bit of correction in CS3 for barrel distortion:

Once you start playing around with a 15mm lens you quickly become addicted to seeing the world "w i d e" and it's very difficult to go back. I experienced the same thing when Canon came out with their 19mm lens back in 1968, then a few years ago when the Voigtlander 15mm Heliar hit the streets it was like being reborn! I hardly shoot with anything else. That lens paid for itself the first week I owned it and it's been a moneymaker ever since. Enjoy it!

I've got the Heliar too...it's amazing! And for an absurd price...

This Pentax is really special...it has four built-in filters, a red, a yellow, a skylight, and a UV...and it weighs about as much as a cat.

I love that first shot...how close were you to the ring???

Tri-X developed in ??? I like the grainy look it really works for these pictures...

How about an aspherical 16mm, but on a Pentax camera:

Yowza! Is that a Pentax lens or the Zenitar?

I was VERY close, like 8 inches! And I developed in 1:25 Rodinal for 7 minutes. I need to go get some D76 or something, though, sometimes the grain is just too much. Glad you like it here, though...so do I...

I think this will keep this on thread, whether ashperical or fisheye these ultra wides are a breath of fresh air when you have 'writers block.'
