Hi to all,

as a historian who unfortunately never could work professional as a historian there is still this special blood running through my vains and so visiting big cities is alway a trip throught the ages too for me.
For those of you who are interested in history and maybe especially in the urban and historic history of Paris I would like to point out a set of photos which show historic residential buildings . The story is below the pics.
Best regards,
Bertram

Wonderful images, Bertram! Thank you

THanks for looking, Doug, glad you found it interesting tho the pic are a documentation only and have not any artistic worth. BTW of course I meant the "urban and social history of Paris " in the text above.
The fascination of Paris is that this is a four - dimensional place, you are moving not only within a geographic area, you are wandering through the last 1000 years too.
And this city has always been one of the cultural most important places of the world, so it is a treasure box now.
If you leave all this touristic stuff behind and deal with the historic facts the fascination first begins. A time machine....-

Best,
Bertram
