1. Are the 50mm framelines on the Bessa R2 more accurate than those found on the current model Leica M (0.72 mag.)?
2. Are the 35mm framelines on the Bessa R2 easy to see for someone with eyeglasses, or if it more like the current model Leica (0.72 mag.) where you have to jiggle your eyeball around?
3. Are there any noticeable limitations of the effective focusing base of a Bessa R2 for Voigtlander lenses wide open? Principally, I'm thinking of the 50/1.5 here. I'm starting to feel that this gets blown way out of proportion. A Bessa R2 still has a longer EFB than and SLR.
4. How would you describe the build quality of the Voigtlander Bessa R2, especially the R2S, when compared to other rangefinders "out there."
I'm thinking about getting rid of my Leica system. It's extensive (3 bodies and 4 lenses) and I'm not sure I can justify it anymore, given what else is now available.
