Gary Winogrand and Larry Clark Show in NJ

The Zimmerli Museum on the Rutgers New Brunswick Campus has a Winogrand and Clark Show opening on March 19. Here's the link:

Only 15 of Winogrand's photos from his portfolio, "Women are Better Than Men", and 30 photos from Clark's, "Tulsa", book will be shown.

The most extensive display of Winogrand's work was shown in Washington, DC, near the Smithsonian, about 4-5 years ago. There were about 200 prints hung, filling an entire floor. I can't recall the name of the gallery, although I spent about four hours viewing Winogrand's work, much to my girlfriend's dismay. Does anybody recall that exhibit and where it might be seen now or in the near future?

The fact that Winogrand continues to be of interest to present-day photographers attests to both the quality of his work and his obsessive work habits.

Thanks for posting the link to that exhibit. I've got to try to get over there. Wish there more Winogrands, but 15 is better than none.
