Some X100 RAW Output

Anyone who read my earlier preview will know that I wasn't a happy bunny with the state of X100 post production prior to the introduction of Lightroom RAW support. I haven't shot JPEG in a while and I found the colours a little over vibrant and density lacking from the images. I've now used the X100 in RAW mode, processed the images using Lightroom and am now a MUCH happier bunny. I feel comfortable with the RAW output and am able to end up with images that look how I feel they ought.

Interesting, i havent been able to produce differences between RAW & JPG that are significant enough to warrant shooting in RAW. I find the X100 does an amazing job out of the camera as JPG's - but then I am nowhere near the quality of photographer s that frequent this forum!

Ah, I remember the days when people shooting and processing 8-bit JPEGs said "who cares!" (evidently, they didn't). Glad to see RAW is since then the now-expected feature of a serious camera.

Tony, I have made more of an effort and converted the RAW images and imported to Aperture and done a little post with some in PS. I can see the difference between the RAW's and JPG's now.
