Major Tom yeah the lens is pleasant surprise, much nicer than I hoped. Fast and silent motors, sharp from wide open, smooth OOF areas.
I dont really change focus points, I just focus in the centre and recompose.

Many wonderful pictures, but the expression of the cow/steer with the chain through the nose is absolutely haunting.
I may need to rethink my personal lens roadmap to include this one. I was a bit turned off by its' slower speed, but it's showing some very nice results.

Buzz, I tend to shoot everything at 35mm but yeah, occasionally it's nice to have a tele in the bag... at the show I wouldnt get half the pictures I got in this set as most interesting things were happening far and behind fences. The lens is ok speed-wise as long as you dont expect pdaf speed. it's fast by fuji standards... fuji-fast
