Almost the end of the week here in beautiful West Yorkshire, bit of high cloud but still sunny f16 it will be a good light a little later.
I need to finish off some colour print in both cameras left from last weekend so I’m going to head for the beer garden of the Shoulder of Mutton via the Cricket field and combine pleasure with pleasure, and get a drink all at the same time.
Good weather then over the rest of the weekend so hopefully there will be chance to get into Bradford or Halifax and do some long planed pics.
Then just a few scans and prints to finish off an album I’ve been doing for a local dance teacher.
All a bit mediocre; anybody go great plans for the weekend?

nothing great planned.
took the day off to make for a long weekend.
the hexar af should be here by noon (2 hours to go).

we have the street performer's festival wrapping up this weekend and i hope to get there for some shots.

It's going to be SO hot here (upwards of 40 Celsius with the humidity) so I think I may try just to stay indoors and develop the 6 rolls of film I have waiting for me.

I did consider visiting a few street festivals but with the heat; I may melt 😀

Indoors, where it's cool, I may go to the Canadian Warplane Heritage museum out in Hamilton as well - I haven't really decided on whether or not to go but I always wanted to visit it and I have a "free" weekend so maybe I'll do it 🙂

cheers,
Dave

We have the annual Highland Games here this WE. My wife wants to go ( I'm hoping all the kilts and caber tossing give her a few ideas 😉 )
Of course, I'll bring along the MP/Elmar combo. There could be a few cute lassies out.

Well, I just had what will surely turn out to be the best portrait of me taken for my employer. I now have to write a bio to accompany it. As I share my birthday with Dr. Seuss I am thinking that I need something witty and rhyming, but that may necessitate my hiring a poet.

rover,

Share that portrait? I had a corportate head shot done a couple of years ago and it turned out great (well, as good as could be expected when you have a "face for radio"). After that, we used the photographer to document our son's first year in four photo sessions. His photos were brilliant.
