You probably already have some kind of scratch and dust removal program that may have come with whatever scanner you are using- but here's another:

It's a great thing if you were just handed a boat load of kodak slide carousels to archive for the family and you run out of canned air.

I tried this years ago (is it not from like the year 2000 or something like that?)and never found it to work very well. I found in removing dust it also eliminated too much of the character and personality of my film, in terms of grain, accutance, etc.
