I was driving through Monroe, La. and did not have a clue that a WWII re-enactor convoy was coming through. Luckily I had my Bessa R and some Tri-X. Added a sepia tone in photoshop
 
Nice stuff! Man, that is a beautiful late M-3 Stuart! (er, ok, I was a tanker (aka Treadhead) in my active duty days.) I like the grain effect too.

Wow... the framing is a masterpiece! Nobody would believe this photo was taken in the 21st century. There's not one vestige in the background! Not a MacDonald's sign, no intruding billboard, nothing!

Thank you all. The lucky part was not in seeing the convoy or getting a shot, but as Francisco said, the exact moment when not a single thing was there to give the time away. I never even noticed it till I got home and developed it. There is only one powerline.
