when using the 35/2.0 and 2.8/3.5, the index finger of left hand some times unintentionally slides to the front of the lens. I have a couple of decent shots were ruined by having a blurry finger at lower right corner.

Well, but I still love the compact design. Be careful, if you are using of these lens.

I guess it all depends on how you support the camera with the left hand. If you support it from below, like you would with a big lens mounted, this can indeed happen. Have you thought about putting a hood on the lenses?

I have my right index finger on some of my 28/3.5 photos - partially because I always use grips. The solution is the rectangular CV hood (LH-1?).

Best,

Roland.

Being that this is a CV thread, what 35/2.0 lens are you talking about?

As Roland mentions, if you use a hood with the lens it will serve as a bumper to keep your fingers out of the frame. That said, if the lens is very compact it can also make space very cramped for your fingers.

I've had that problem with the CV 21 - pink blurry bits encroaching into the edges of the shot. I've got the hood, but I find it really blocks too much of the viewfinder. So for me the answer is education - I simply have to learn to stop holding it like an SLR and get my damned fingers out of the shot.
