Sony has sent me one and another dealer is sending me one.

I noticed that the shipment date for Sony has changed to end of Feb.

Anyone else getting calls?

So yours has been shipped or it will be shipping at the end of Feb? I didn't order one, but was curious.

Where are you in the world? Sony Canada is still saying Mid March. I have a pre-order in at a camera store, haven't heard from them yet.

Quite a few Australian dealers have them in stock. Picked mine up yesterday. But it seems Many customers from some of the larger countries are still waiting?

I got two. One from Sony and one from a dealer.

I was going to sell the other one at cost but people are asking for lower price so I just shipped it back.

Sony also upgraded me to over night shipping at no cost which was nice.

I am in NYC btw.

damn, I would have bought it off you, god knows when Sony will get around to getting some to Canada. Oh well :)

I heard that sony has moved up shipping dates. At least here in US.

They told me April in beginning of Feb. Got an email saying Feb 7th and later telling it was 14th. I didnt believe it until I saw the charge on my credit card.

If you want, I can call my dealer and see if anyone canceled their order.

ahhh, that's ok, I have a pre-order in here in Ottawa... I'm hoping it won't be too long, especially if they're starting to move up shipments. Plus with cross-border shopping from a store I'll be hit with duty, tax, brokerage fees etc. Thanks though!

Plus I'm guessing there's a waiting list EVERYWHERE right now :)

Thats true.

Funny thing I heard from the dealer. He said that people are canceling their X-Pro 1 preorders since they are getting their NEX 7.

Honestly I think all these companies (Fuji, Sony, Olympus) are riding a hype-bubble that's going to pop soon... everyone's scrambling to pre-order one, two or even all three of these "HOT" cameras and we're not going to see who the clear winner is for months until the dust settles. For now, people are going to go with whichever they can get their hands on first, we're going to wait for an objective opinion as there's going to be a lot of "Camera X is the best, because that's the one I went with and I don't want to believe I chose wrong"

@ Disaster Area. By some metric, one of these cameras may be objectively best in some category or by some metric, but they all seem like highly capable photographic machines and wish I could afford any one system.

I do feel like there is a definite bubble that is going to pop as you stated. Just two many new products creating a fog around what I think I want...

I really want this camera and I'm a impetuous sort but I'm gonna wait until the fuss is over and see if there are any problems to sort out.

I suspect most people who want this camera will have it by the summer and any issues will become evident by then.

That's the plan anyway.

Oh, definitely, I don't think any one of the three is going to be the all round best... right tool for the right job etc, and I think that's what's got people jumping from one to the other on a daily basis, each system seems to have one or two "deciding factors" going for them, people just aren't sure which of those features is going to be the most important in the long run, combined, they'd make the perfect camera if you had:

- looks, build, primes (and possibly the EVF/OVF combo, not enough data to say it's the way to go yet) from the XPro

- weather sealing and lens line up of the OMD

- sensor size, control customization, tiltable LCD and EVF of the NEX 7
