Sony NEX Lens Lineup: Anything else?

I think it is pretty cool that Sony is vigorous in filling out two separate lines of lens lineups. Who else is doing this? Plus the third party market is jumping on both lines. Ballsy.

I'd like a Sigma 14 mm . Or maybe the well known 10-20/4 Sigma , even if the Sony has the 10-18. If issued at a competitive price , I'd buy one at a 50% of Sony's price.
The NEX mount lineup improves year after year, it's not a weak point any more .I think the need is to have some third party cheaper (and I don't mean IQ wise) alternatives. The Sony lenses are rather costly.
I use manual focus legacy lenses for the rest of focal lengths

I think the Sony lenses are pretty cheap mostly.
The next generation of 3rd party lenses are likely to be costly though (Leitz for example) it's true.

10-18 Sony at 850 $ doesn't seem quite cheap to me .in Europe probably the same number in Euro.

I've used the Tamron 18mm - 200 mm E-mount lens on my Nex-3 for the past 3 months and for general purpose photography I find it to be a decent lens without adding too much more bulk to the camera. As such I now rarely use the Sony 18 - 55 mm Sony lens the camera came bundled with.

The only major downside is the price, which at 750 USD is almost double I paid for the original camera bundle although this is about 50 USD cheaper than the equivalent Sony lens.

Wishlist wise, wouldn't it be great if the snapshot lens on the NEX roadmap turns out to be body cap sized, just like the Olympus 15mm/f8? That would be my number 1.. It's not really a must-have lens, the 16 isn't oversized for what it does, but it'd be the icing on the cake.

What is a real omission in the lens line-up as far as I can see, is the lack of a medium tele. It's hinted at in the roadmap, but nothing solid about what it'll be. I'm hoping for something in the 105 to 135 range with a decent aperture, preferably f2-ish. Must have very low coma.. otherwise I can't stack my astro-photos decently..

a 50mm equivalent that is the equal of my smc pentax-m 50/1.4 that does not cost more than $500. ...
Yes, agree! Something like an affordable (and still compact) 1.4/32!
I know that there will be the Sony 1.8/35 soon. But it's too expensive for what it offers.
And the Zeiss 1.8/32 will not be easily "affordable" at all!!

I have even heard about a price of €900,-!

what is the flattest, most compact lens or lens/adapter for the NEX? a native pancake would make the NEX 5/6/7 easily coat pocketable ...
