Thanks Rover, you're right. And Peter did provide that Classic Camera link, though I didn't find 40mm there.
There's even a Heliopan UV listed in the Clearance section. Price is the same as what I paid for mine. http://www.filterfind.net/index.htm

Cambridge has a bad reputation, yes, but I've had a remarkably good experience with them on a Canon P. Maybe they've changed into the company I experienced. Bush changed, the Pope changed, maybe Cambridge did too.
Fundamental lesson: Don't send money to anybody unless you're prepared to lose it.
And I had a good experience with Airwatch...note that for my new yellow filter I paid 3X what filterfind is asking for used Walz , but either way it's a good quality filter at a fair price.
