Hi all
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find source for a replacement grub screw that holds the shutter speed selector? anyone know the modern equivalent?? The problem is that the inertia of the spinning shutter speed selector eventually loosens the screw, and having read that they are made of solidified butter, they are difficult to tighten without wrecking them. There has to be a modern equivalent that can replace it.
Also any ideas that I could do using the one I have would be great - BTW what kind of screwdrivers did the soviets use, I used my nice precision german set, but it looks like the soviets used a really thin screwdriver but that had a tip like a cold chisel - masonry chisel - or a jackhammer, the precision screwdriver tip was too "precision"
I was in a panic as the shutter selector just rotated, but after finding the B setting it was easy to reset it.
Many thanks
Nathan
