Anyone know of a good source of bulk triangular split rings? Just the run of the mill strap ring that seemingly every '60s-80s Japanese camera came with.

The only source I could find were 6/$6. I'd like to buy a bag of 50 or so, and not have it cost $50. I searched McMaster-Carr, but couldn't find anything of the sort.

Like so:

Thanks!

yep, that's who I found them through. :)

I figured there is some industrial use for these things, somewhere, that would make them available in larger quantities.

Buy with caution from Boca. Use Paypal so you have some recourse if he doesn't deliver... as he didn't in my last buy from him.

The triangular rings are on the way out with the Fuji X-100: they wear away the strap lugs. A circular ring causes less wear it seems.

hm, interesting.

I did note that McMaster sells brass circular split rings. I imagine that would not hurt things.
