Sources for camera case re-sewing?

Hello,
I have recently purchased an eveready case for my Konica II rangefinder to use with a camera strap (the camera wasn't made with camera strap lugs). The bottom of the case, like many, has thread missing, and needs to be re-sewn. Does anyone know anyone who could do this?

Yes, our local shoemaker has repaired more of my camera cases than my shoes!

saddle makers are pretty adept at sewing leather.

Definitely. A shoe repair shop could easily take care of this, and they're quite common.

And most will be thankful for the business. You could do it yourself, but it really isn't worth it if there is a reliable shoe shop nearby.

Thanks for all the informative replies! I'll look into a local shoe repair shop. I've also purchased a leather sewing awl and thread, so I've got both options.

I could.
And have done so many times with camera bags, camera straps, photovests, baseball gloves, hockey goaltender's equipment and the like.
Probably nothing more than a ten minute job.
Get a package of carpet needles from a craft store and a roll of braided nylon fishing line from the outdoor shop and take a shot.
If you really can't or won't do it, or worse, try and screw it up, the shoemaker in the local mall will re-sew it ( but will charge far more than it's worth, and take far longer than necessary to get it done).

I've used saddle makers in the past with great success. One also modified an ever-ready case and strap to my design.

A sewing awl and some waxed nylon thread is all you need...
unless the leather is dry rotted or torn. If it is, it's not worth the trouble stitching. You'd need to cut a new matching piece of leather.
