I am looking for some IR cut filters to use with my M8, and cannot wait until Leica ships mline. Do you know where I can buy them online ? Thanks in advance. Also if by chance you have some for sale (46mm and 39mm) please drop me a line.

I think the Leica ones are just about on the way. I called Leica yesterday to see if I could change my mind on the sizes and they said "No - too late".

If I'm not mistaken the hot mirror filters have a fairly strong filter factor, do they not? I know the IR-cut filters don't have a factor (well, of course they do, it's 1).
I got my one and only from Adorama. I got a big one (77mm) so I can use it on all my lenses (I have a Filter View adaptor set). The RD1 doesn't need it most of the time. I read that the B+W filters are only multicoated on one side, but the Heliopans are on both sides. That's what I got, the Heliopan Digital Filter.

I hope not. I've not seen any filter factor mentioned for the Hot Mirror filters.

46mm seems to be out of stock everywhere I've looked. Well, you could special order one from B&H but their stock estimation is a 6-10 week wait...

I just picked up the last 46mm from Adorama.
The hot mirror filters can add a strong color cast to the image as well.
