I'll try this here. I've been developing at home with Diafine for a couple of years. Time for me is very scarce thus I wonder if there are other options besides the long waits from A-I and others.

First, I can't find anyone from WalMart willing to say if their Fuji service will do B&W. The envelopes do not list it as a servive. Has anyone used theem?

WalMart here has a 1 hour lab. What would be the chances of this working for B&W? All I've ever seen them pass out is color prints and slides.

Sorry for my ignorance.

Ilford XP2 and Kodak BW400CN are B&W films that are processed in C-41 color chemistry. Any mini-lab should be able handle these.

I hope this helps

Good film for sure. The only problem I have is that most 1 hour labs don't hit the right button on the machine to make the scans B&W. No worries. Lightroom fixes it easily enough.

Wal-Mart/Sam's Club will take 35mm B&W (the real stuff) film and send it off somewhere for developing and printing. I gave them a roll of Ilford Delta 100. The negatives are full of pinhole spots where the emulsion is gone. Never again. DIY is still the best & most econimical way to develop B&W film. Save up a few rolls and dedicate an hour or two to developing. Your negatives will look so much better.

I guess the key may be C-41. I shoot TriX and HP5. I'll prbably give WalMart a try and I have an invite to use a RFF guy. thanks for your responses.
