Hi, I can get a pretty beat-up '37 IIIa with a DIY bottom plate. Appearantly it sticks to the body reasonably well, but I would prefer a real one.
Does anyone have one to spare? I don't care if it is dinged, scratched or whatever.
thanks!

Check with Will van Manen, maybe? Collectcamera has a few, too. Although prices may be way off...
EDIT: sorry, looked again at C-camera - wrong types of base plates...

Can try that, Jimi. How is the M4 I got you?

DAG might have one. Can't say about price, though anything they have will be in good shape or else unused.
Last week I had a friend send DAG a cheque to pay for two small IIIc parts. DG wrote that one of them was used, not new as described, and generously agreed to send me a third part which I also needed, although that over-shot the cheque by $5.

It is alive and well. Hope you'll find what you're looking for, now.

Well, DAG does have one, but it makes the whole thing too expensive. For a camera of unsure status, that is.
Anyone have one to spare?

Will a baseplate from a Zorki or a Fed fit the IIIa?

They might. In my Plan B thread I asked about this and it may work.
I am now awaiting the camera to see what else I might need and try to arrange something with DAG.
Thanks all for your advice and efforts in measuring.
