Spare J8?

Okay, but . . .
You might like one better if it had a non-rotating mount, so you can change the f-stop after you focus, and it had a focusing lever just like most classy rangefinder lenses, and it were really solid and chromed-looking. I'd get a J-8 form the late 50's or early 60's and have it collimated to work on a Leica and get one of those lens shades with vents and a tilted cone shade . . . Worth the time

Cheers,

Brian.

If you have friends who occasionaly visit Russia - ask them to buy J-8 here.

By the way, just for fun - I can spare J-8 made in 1956 or 1963 :) The only thing for you to do is... to find a friend who travels (for business for example) in Russia.

Hey, Brian. I've got one! I'll go take a look at it.

Ooops, it's a J8 alright, but in Kiev/Contax mount.

Oh, well, I'm sure others will have one. I had forgotten that I replaced the
J8 that came on my Kiev with a Helios 103.
