Hi all,

I found an old book belonging to my uncle which ended up in my library: "The Kodak Reference Handbook" dating back to 1947. It has some interesting recipes for Kodak developers, Baths, Hardeners, Fixer Baths, toning, etc. . . But I digress.

The book mentions the Kodak Ektra, which used a split screen type rangefinder for focusing. I remember reading on Cameraquest about such rangefinders, but I don't recall the mention of specific rangefinders that have split screen focusing.

So, do you know what other rangefinders, other that the Kodak Ektra, that use splitscreen instead of(or together with) image on image focusing?

Thanks,

Michael

I think the term you're looking for is split-field, and were used in some cameras like certain Agfa Karats.
