Georgia Spring 2015 Meetup?

any of those is good for me if the bride's spring schedule matches. she would NOT want to miss savannah or charleston or ...

Excellent, Paul..just gotta get it all figured out. I reckon will use our free night in Savannah and a night or two in Charleston would be amazing among friends!

Ok, you guys are too quiet. I will take the point.

How about a first round of meet-ups during April 1-5, 2015?

Savannah or/and Charleston?

We can do one or the other or a two-fer !!!

Hi Dave, unfortunately living on the other side of the ocean cannot make it :)
Maybe after the summer a trip could be possible...if money...will see....
Nice to see you back on RFF !

It is possible to use technology to bring RFF friends together. Use Facetime with an IPad or IPod. We can cross international barriers this way.
Example: the Georgia based group have breakfast while the Milan based group relax after some tea in the evening. People who cannot make it physically to the planned meeting can then see you and chat with you as a group.

Food for thought.

Robert,

A while back I met up with Dave and Linda in Savannah while vacationing.

If my i.phone is not wrong we have 5 hours difference between Savannah and Milan...and 15 °C...

I use FaceTime internationally. That is an excellent thing to do. As far as I know, it is free as long as you're on wifi. I have not been charged for it yet.

RAID, that is a great suggestion!

Asheville is at probably 3000 feet~ altitude and likely won't be pleasantly warm until May. I love Asheville and Black Mountain (not "Blackwood") about 15 miles east of there.

Agreed... I am thinking a June date for Asheville. Dave would you be able to make it to Asheville? We had a successful meet there three years ago! If you would like to be there, what date looks good?

Not sure, but this weekend is out for me to go anywhere, I'm working most of Saturday into early Sunday doing some hardware work.

Early April, is that Easter weekend? I ask, because where I work is blocking out Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor day for scheduling off hours work.

Anyway, now that I see activity here I'll need to drop by more often than once a week...
