So after my first time trying C-41, I forgot that I was supposed to save the stabilizer, and dumped half the bottle down the drain. Will any stabilizer work to replace this, or is there something special about the powder that comes in the kit?

New film - any. Old (before 2000) will require stabilizer with formaldehyde.

Thanks. Now I'm having trouble actually finding some. Is "final rinse and replenisher" the same as stabilizer? I filtered chemicals for "Color" and "Stabilizer on adorama and I get this stuff:

Also, I got terrible water spots on my film. I was under the impression that the stabilizer had photoflo mixed in, but apparently not. Can I mix a bit of photoflo in with the stabilizer?

Yes, Kodak Final Rinse is correct product.
You could read about it here:

Water spots are most likely due to absence of wetting agent in stabilizer. It is common to add Photo-Flo into stabilizer (for every 8-10 films).
But I don't know if it is already added to the Kodak Final Rinse. Looks like it is already added, if you read the description in the link.

Exactly what I did last night, force of habit from B&W development!
Stabilizer is more than just Photoflo right? I can't just use Photoflo instead, rather than in addition to, Stab (I'm guessing it has some kind of added anti-fungal/preservative properties?)
