Hi all,
I've got a roll of exposed HP5+ 120 film that I'd like to experiment on with stand development, since I have a bit of Tmax dev leftover. Has anyone given this a try before? I was guesstimating 1:19 with 90 minutes and agitation every 30 minutes based on previous experiments.

Tmax is not the sort of developer usually used for stand since it is not made for high dilutions. Developers like Rodinal and HC-110 are what most use. I think 90 minutes will be too long.
Kodak publishes times for Tmax Developer diluted 1+7 and 1+9 for Tmax 100 and Tmax 400 films. I've found with most films that multiplying the standard 1+4 time by 1.5 will get you the correct time for the 1+7 dilution, and multiplying the 1+4 time by 2.25 will get you the time for the 1+9 dilution on most films.
Ilford recommends a time of 6.5 minutes at 68 degrees for HP5 developed in Tmax Developer in the standard 1+4 dilution. I have not tested it in the 1+9 dilution, but I would recommend trying 14.5 minutes at 1+9. Extrapolating from that, I'd say that for a 1+19 dilution, that the right time would be about 40 minutes.
Tmax is a pretty strong developer. I think even with the reduced agitation used for stand developing that a 90 minute developing time will be way too much.
