Interesting interview with Stanley Greene of Noor. Michael Kamber does a great job and you really get a good look into the mind of a very interesting photographer.

Paul Luscher
Well-known
1. He wanted to be a musician like Jimi Hendrix, until he realized he couldn't touch him. Well, I want to be a photographer like Stanley Green , and I can't touch him..
2. Much as I like shooting film, I dunno about his comments re the need to go back to film. Kinda like sayng go back to the horse and buggy. Ain't gonna happen. There always seems to be this reaction to any kind of technological innovation--that it leads to a decline in cratsmanship , or whatever. Think it was Baudelaire who said, at the dawn of phtotgraphy, that it wold nefver be an art.
3. Chimping: yes, that is one of the bad things about digital photography, and a crime I am guilty of. It's just too easy to do. And I've probably lost a lot of good shots, tryig to see how the last one came out.

Yeah, he is really outspoken on several fronts. It was interesting to hear him talk about money and what life is like for him. He seems to be the real deal!
